While people swooned over the new colorful beverages and devoured the Cookie Croissant Swirl, Starbucks Olympics inspired coffee deserves its moment in the spotlight. Before the Closing Ceremonies, this beverage needs to be ordered. And, it might become a new signature sipper.

As the Official Coffee Partner of Team USA, Starbucks has highlighted a few Team USA athletes’ favorite coffee orders. From Amber Glenn’s Tall Iced Caramel Macchiato with nonfat milk + an added shot of espresso to Elana Meyers Taylor’s Grande Pistachio Latte + Oatmilk, these athletes thirst for their signature coffee order. No matter where they are competing, they know that Starbucks delivers the coffee that they know and love.

Even though many people have their signature order saved on their Starbucks app, many people choose to try a new option for a special occasion. In honor of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games Milano Cortina 2026, Starbucks created a specialty coffee that combines both the Italian sophistication and America’s coffee legacy.

The Iced Brown Sugar Honey Americano is sweet, spicy and a little playful. Whether drunk to start the day or after a long run on the slopes, the beverage satisfies on a warm sunny day or during the depths of a winter chill.

Here’s how to order Starbucks Olympics Inspired Coffee, Iced Brown Sugar Honey Americano.

  • Grande Iced Americano, Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast
  • 2 Pumps Honey Syrup
  • Brown Sugar Cold Foam
  • Dash of Cinnamon

Brown Sugar Cold Foam is always a good choice on a Starbucks drink. The pillowy soft foam infuses its caramel-like flavor into the coffee. Plus, it can be a little choose your own adventure food moment. Some people prefer to quickly stir the drink components together while others prefer to let them meld together over time.

Additionally, honey and coffee are not the typical sweetener combination. Honey and tea are mainstays. The honey syrup adds some roundness to the beverage. When combined with the brown sugar and cinnamon, it almost feels bright, like sun reflecting off a snowy peak.

Should Starbucks offer more of these specialty menu themed menu items? Absolutely, it should.

First, it fosters a connection with a current world wide moment. Fostering connections over coffee brings Starbucks back to the coffeehouse and third space concept that was front and center during LE25.

Second, everyone loves a specialty, sometimes “secret” menu item. It is a way to feel in the know or part of a group. The membership fee with this concept is low, but the return is great.

Lastly, these specialty menu items can highlight some overlooked coffees or ingredients on the Starbucks menu. Even if the company has scaled back some of its robust menu, revitalizing overlooked items is key. Whether it is the first time someone uses honey syrup or seeing the Blond Espresso Roast in a new combination, these specialty beverages spark an interest in coffee creativity.
