While everyone loves those iconic cookies and naked cakes, Milk Bar understands that savory food items deserve a place on the menu. Collaborating with Beyond Meat, Milk Bar’s savory menu returns, and the first taste will bring people back for more.
Food trends always evolve. As people crave ingredients, flavors, and curious combinations, brands need to adapt.
Additionally, restaurants need to keep guests engaged. While iconic dishes will always be a favorite order, a gap in the menu cannot be overlooked.
Milk Bar has brought back its Savory Menu. Guests have been longing for these options. With an assist from Beyond Meat, two new choices have people cheering for another serving.
As Danielle Armbrust, VP of Marketing, Beyond Meat explained, “One of our biggest goals at Beyond Meat is making plant-based eating more accessible by showing up in the places people already know and love. Collaborations like this invite new consumers to experience Beyond Meat in a fun, familiar setting and demonstrate just how delicious and versatile plant-based protein can be.”

What are the New Beyond Meat Milk Bar Menu Items?
Available at Milk Bar’s New York City and Los Angeles flagship locations through October 5, the two new food items are Beyond Breakfast Sausage and Egg Spiral and Beyond Meatball Parm Roll.
While the Beyond Breakfast Sausage and Egg Spiral was an obvious choice, the Beyond Meatball Parm Roll is the real winner. Even if eaten for breakfast, it is the first bite that will have everyone craving another order.
Starting with Beyond Meatballs, they are covered with marinara, onions, and gooey melted cheese. All the ingredients are wrapped in golden baked dough. It feels like a traditional meatball parm, but served as an easy handheld.
The key to this dish is the contrasting textures. The meatballs have a tender, meaty texture yet are not dense. The dough is perfectly flakey, which creates a crisp crunch layer. It has complexity in every bite. Yet, the dish never feels pretentious. It is easy, tasty, and a little nostalgic. Basically, it is the meatball parm people remember with a modern upgrade.
Additionally, Beyond Breakfast Sausage and Egg Spiral has a similar approach. Instead of another soggy, bland bite, the flakey, golden pastry elevates that traditional sausage and egg. Plus, the spiral methods keeps the dish innovative. No one will find this breakfast bite at the bodega or drive-thru.
While these food items are an easy order at the flagship stores, Milk Bar shares these recipes on their website. Everyone can make the dishes at home. It is the upgrade that people will want to try.
Could there be more Beyond Meat items coming to Milk Bar? Only time will tell. If these items are successful, more savory choices could be coming.
