As the world watches the athletes in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo compete, the Olympic spirit shines brightly. From the Opening Ceremonies to the moment the cauldrons’ flame is extinguished, all eyes are glued to the triumphant moments and agonizing defeats. These food and beverages add to the excitement.

From restaurant collaborations to creative cocktails there is something for everyone. One easy way to get into the Olympic Spirit is to have some Hershey’s chocolate on hand. A longtime supporter of Team USA, the beloved chocolate brand launched medal shaped candies.

These sweet treats might not be as precious as the medals earned by the athletes, but they earn a prize with fans. For example, people can turn their watching parties into an event. The best commentary, fact knowledge or something else can earn the coveted Hershey’s treat.

Restaurants Get into the Olympic Spirit

Raising Cane’s leads the way in supporting athletes and charities. For this Winter Olympics, the company partnered with Flavor Flay to support elite U.S.A. Bobsled and Skeleton Team athletes.

Last month, Cane’s launched limited-edition bobsled plush puppy. The adorable collectible was a huge hit.

Kings took a different approach to its Olympics themed offerings. Since all the cheering can make people thrifts, the well know brand offers several specialty drinks.

One unique item pays homage to everyone’s favorite bobsled team. Although this cocktail brings instant warmth, not “cool runnings,” it does slide down easy.

The Jamaican Bobsled Shot combines Bacardi rum, pineapple and coconut cream. It is tropical yet perfect for a wintry run. Served on an icy shotski, it will get everyone cheering.

Lastly, Starbucks celebrates the Olympic Spirit with a new commercial and some special menu items. As the Official Coffee Partner of Team USA, the new commercial is an epic coffee run that many people long to try.

Capture the Olympic Spirit with a Taste of Italy

While many people will serve some Barilla pasta or a perfectly crisp pizza, there are plenty Italian inspired food and drink items that are perfect for watching parties. It is a bounty of food and beverages.

For example, Volpi Foods has a wide variety of cured meats for that charcuterie board. Whether the display is simple or complex homage to the ski slopes, people will appreciate the authentic flavor. This concept is sophisticated snacking for people who la dolce vita.

Since food deserves a refreshing beverage, MARTINI has shared a bright, refreshing spritz option. While it would be lovely as a “apres ski,” no one has to barrel down the slopes to sip this libation.
