Summer and ice cream are always a perfect pair. From a scoop perched on a sugar cone or a bowl filled to the brim, the luscious, sweet, frozen dessert satisfies on a hot day. Graeter’s Summer Bonus Flavors celebrate the season’s best moments from places near and far.
Graeter’s understands that food taps into favorite memories. One bite brings back images, inspires smiles, and satisfies in the best possible way.
While the specialty ice cream brand has pushed boundaries with its curious flavor combinations, the brand never loses site of its true purpose. Food is that common connector. “Screaming” for ice cream never gets old. The flavors in the bold just evolve.
As Richard Graeter, fourth-generation president and CEO, Graeter’s explained, “Ice cream has always been a quintessential part of summer, bringing people together through joyful moments. Our five new limited-edition flavors are meant to capture those moments big and small and make summer sweeter and last just a little bit longer.”
What are Graeter’s Summer Bonus Flavors?
Kicking off the seasonal fun, Graeter’s Summer Bonus Flavors feature five offerings that excite even the most jaded food critic. Two of the five flavors are available now. The other options will be rolling out over the season.
The flavors are Marrakesh Coffee, Ghost Notes, Peanut Butter & Clouds, and Strawberry Sorbet. These frozen desserts do what Graeter’s does best, blend nostalgia with innovation. It is simple indulgence without any negative connotations.
Additionally, each one captures a summer vibe. From riding an epic roller coaster to the spectacle of patriotic fireworks, there needs to be room for many pints in the freezer.
Graeter’s leans into its roots with the Ghost Notes. While marshmallow and grape ice cream is a curious combination, the concept really works. This flavor might influence the traditional s’mores around the firepit. Maybe it is time to add some fruit to that chocolate.
Additionally, the Ghost Notes is a homage to Kings Island’s new ride, Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare. This ice cream is far from scary, but it does offer a big thrill like the attraction. Sometimes pushing the flavor envelope is just what the summer deserves.
While plenty of people will buy several pints of the Cherry Sparkler for all-American celebrations, the Marrakesh Coffee and the Strawberry Sorbet invite culinary creatives to think outside the bowl.
Of course, the transformation into a potent potable is obvious, but there is more than just another shot drizzled over a scoop. From floats to granitas, adults will be screaming for more opportunities to enjoy another spoonful of these frozen treats.
Marrakesh Coffee and Ghost Notes are available now. Peanut Butter & Clouds will be available in early June. Cherry Sparkler will be available in late June. Strawberry Sorbet will be available in late July. Check with retailers for availability and pricing.
