What makes a new cookie craveable or the hottest conversation amongst snack and dessert lovers? Terms like tasty, delicious, and fun not only drive the first bite but keep people coming back for more. Three new OREO Flavors dropped, but only one will win the Twist, Lick, Vote Campaign.

OREO knows how to build excitement around limited-time flavors. It can be a fun pop culture campaign with specialty embossed cookies. Other drops involve curious creations that transform familiar flavors into delicious cookies. Both scenarios send people straight to the store to purchase a coveted package.

Starting on August 17, three specialty flavors, Banana Pudding, Deep Fried and Chicken & Waffles, will drop on OREO.com/UnwrapTheCollab and the brand’s TikTok shop. Everyone will be counting the hours till they can make a purchase.

With this end of summer campaign, OREO wanted to put the power in the fans’ hands. As people vote, they control which one of these three flavors will return for 2027. Will people pick on flavor, creativity, or nostalgia? No matter the reasonings, the winner will instantly become a coveted flavor.

As Matt Foley, Vice President, OREO explained, “For decades, our consumers have supported our wildest, most creative flavor endeavors, and now we want to elevate that relationship from a simple product drop into a dynamic, two-way conversation. By dropping three incredibly distinct flavors at once, Banana Pudding, Deep Fried and Chicken & Waffles, we are giving our community true agency to help decide the future of our product lineup. We know our fans are incredibly passionate about their favorite flavors, and we can’t wait to see which of these cookies they choose to bring back in 2027.”

What Can Fans Expect from the Three New OREO Flavors?

The three limited time flavors that fans can vote for in the campaign are Banana Pudding, Deep Fried, and Chicken & Waffles. As the names convey, the cookies are familiar with a hint of nostalgia and old school flavor. Whether the original dish is enjoyed at a state fair, grandma’s kitchen, or even brunch, people know that taste and have high expectations.

The Banana Pudding cookie seems the most traditional of the three options. Sandwiched in between two vanilla wafer cookies is a dual-layered crème of sweet banana and vanilla pudding.

It feels very similar to the original dessert. More importantly, this cookie would be great in a vanilla milkshake or layered with more banana pudding.

For people who want to satisfy that craving without the effort, this cookie delivers. It will be top choice.

The Chicken and Waffles will be the most controversial. Savory flavors are not common in OREO cookies. As long as this flavor brings that maple syrup forward, it will appease fans.

Instead of focusing on the traditional dish, people should look at this flavor as a salty and sweet combination. The dual layer crème and creative waffle embossment make this cookie the most fun visual.

The Deep Fried OREO Cookie is a curious option. While many people love that fair staple, there is a temperature component to it. How this option will capture that idea is uncertain.

The flavor starts with fried dough-flavored cookies. Then it wraps layers of dark chocolate and fried dough flavor crème. The key is to ensure that the crème is subtle.

Which one of these three flavors will the fans choose? Milk’s favorite cookie is about to get a new pairing. Ready to make your selection?
