What Are Krispy Kreme’s Fourth of July Doughnuts?
According to Krispy Kreme, the Fourth of July Doughnuts feature two new doughnuts and two returning favorites. They are USA Doughnut (new), Firework Doughnut (new), Freedom Ring Doughnut (returning), and Chocolate Iced with Patriotic Sprinkles (returning).
The new USA Doughnut starts with an unglazed shell, fills it with Cookies n’ Kreme, then dips it in red icing with patriotic stars. It is finished with a USA sugar piece. This doughnut feels more like a mini-cake. The cookies and Kreme filling appeals to all ages. It will easily become a favorite.
The Firework Doughnut is more straightforward. The Original Glazed adds vanilla flavored icing, gold glitter and a firecracker sugar piece. For people who want a visual showstopper, this doughnut is the winner.
The two returning doughnuts, Freedom Ring Doughnut and Chocolate Iced with Patriotic Sprinkles, are classics. No one would turn down these treats.
