While people praise viral makers, choosing individuality is not as simple as clicking like. For Mike’s Hard Lemonade, the beverage brand takes a popular trend and makes it their own. Ready to pour a can of Mike’s Dirty Lemonade?
Many moons ago, my first sip of Mike’s Hard Lemonade was a refreshing change. Instead of another watery beer, that sweet, tart and tasty alcoholic beverage just hit right. There was flavor yet it never ventured too far into the potent potable category.
Over the years, Mike’s Hard Lemonade has adapted to beverage trends. From higher ABVs to creative flavor twists, the classic hard lemonade remained fresh.
Why Is Mike’s Dirty Lemonade a Smart Expansion?
Over the past couple of years, “dirty” drinks have popped up everywhere. Dirty can have different interpretations. But, all the beverages have one thing in common. They feel a little naughty, but they are too good to resist.
Speaking about this new category for the beverage brand, Kevin Brady, VP of Marketing, Mike’s Hard Lemonade said, “We’re ushering in a new era for Mike’s that reflects how people want to show up today. This is about embracing individuality and creating something that feels real — in every sense of the word.”
While “individuality” might be a curious term, the new beverages stand out amongst the sea of sameness. Consumers need excitement. As long as the flavor creates a thirst for a second sip, the new product will be successful.
What Are the New Mike’s Dirty Lemonade Flavors?
Mike’s Dirty Lemonade comes in four flavors. They are Dirty Lemonade Secret, Dark Cherry Brew, Very Berry Grape and Pineapple Haze.
The Dirty Lemonade Secret combines several food trends in one. The hint of hot honey brings both a sweet and savory note. It makes it a smart pairing for burger, tacos or even pizza.
Pineapple Haze will appeal to cocktail fans. Almost a nod to a Pina Colada, the pineapple, lemon and coconut being a tropical vibe. Even without a blender, this beverage brings a cool beach breeze with every sip.
Overall, all four flavors are approachable and crowd pleasing. With the warmer months ahead, the only dirty lemonade will be the hit of summer parties.
Mike’s Dirty Lemonade comes in at 4.5% ABV. It is available in a variety 12 pack of 12 oz cans and single serve 24 oz cans. Check with retailers for availability and pricing.
