Everyone knows that Baked by Melissa has impeccable cupcakes. Even just a tiny bite satisfies any sweet craving. Now, the popular food brand collaborated with Essie to create a picture perfect offering that will be the highlight anyone’s feed.
Time and again, Baked by Melissa understands that creative brand partnerships are vital to its business strategy. Whether it is infusing Ritz crackers flavors into a salty sweet dessert or bringing a briny pickle forward treat to the table, these limited time offerings surprise and delight fans.
The most recent offering is a collaboration between Baked by Melissa and Essie. While these cupcakes do not infuse nail polish into flavors, the name and visual interpretation ensure that each tiny bite pairs perfectly with that exceptional manicure.
According to Melissa Ben-Ishay, CEO and Cofounder of Baked by Melissa, “Essie has been my go-to nail polish for as long as I can remember. Different colors represent different chapters and special moments in my life, forever tied to some of my most cherished memories, from my first ballet recital to my wedding day. Collaborating with my favorite nail polish brand on this limited-edition launch feels incredibly special, and I hope you love it as much as we do.”
What Are the Baked by Melissa and Essie Cupcake Flavors?
According to the brand, the Baked by Melissa cupcakes are inspired by the Essie nail polishes. The flavors are Marshmallow, Berry Naughty, and Unsalted. Whether a person’s manicure matches the cupcake or contrasts the vibrant color, it will be the perfect backdrop to that snappable moment.
The most successful cupcake flavor is Berry Naughty. Using vanilla cake as a simple backdrop, the dark chocolate raspberry ganache pops. Topped with dark chocolate icing and freeze-dried raspberry, the flavor is both sweet and tart. Even the tiniest nibble satisfies that sweet craving.
The Unsalted is the unusual flavor of the trio. The combination of vanilla cake, Bavarian cream, sugar cookie icing and a butter cookie piece, it is far from boring. The complexity of vanilla’s classic flavor comes through in every bite. Sometimes rediscovering a classic is quite exciting.
The Baked by Melissa specialty cupcakes are available online. A 25 pack is $37 online or a 12 pack is $19 at Baked by Melissa stores.
