Ready to slip into a returning favorite beverage? 7-Eleven’s Brr-Nana Slurpee is back. Will you be able to sip on one?

Slurpee fans are vocal about their favorite flavors. While Coca-Cola is always a favorite, many limited time flavors earned legendary status. Banana is one of them.

According to Randy Quinn, Senior Vice President of Total Beverages at 7-Eleven, Inc., “At 7-Eleven, we’re always looking for new ways to surprise and delight our customers – especially when it comes to tastes that spark nostalgia and tap into niche flavor fandoms. Banana is one of those flavors that customers remember and love, and we’re excited to bring it back and delight those who have been waiting for its return.”

While many people would sprint to enjoy a sip of the banana Slurpee, it has a very limited release for this run. According to 7-Eleven, it will be available all year long, in limited quantities, at participating locations.

Reintroducing the banana Slurpee is a smart move for 7-Eleven. Banana milk is a trending beverage. The resurgence in popularity for the classic fruit is huge. Now is the right time to bring it back.

Additionally, having limited availability is equally as important. Although not as curious as the quick service restaurant broken ice cream machine map, finding a participating location becomes a quest. The person who scores that coveted sip can be the envy of all the Slurpee lovers.

What Slurpee flavor could be next for 7-Eleven? A savory influenced beverage would nice. Lemonade basil or peach thyme is an option. These ideas would be forward thinking versus trying to hang onto the waning moments of the swicy food trend.
