The classic Spritz cocktail has become a summertime staple. Whether it is the vibrant Aperol variety sipped while lounging by the water or the sweeter Hugo option welcoming leisurely afternoon, the 3-2-1 beverage satisfies. As the leaves change color, the seasonal change does not make the libation hibernate till Spring. These Fall Spritz Cocktails keep the bubbly, fruity, and fun vibes going.

Time and again, people sip a version of a Spritz. Whether it is celebrities touting their favorite version or a girlfriend who longs for that “getaway” moment, the cocktail has surged in popularity.

Additionally, a spritz usually offers a lower ABV option to high octane cocktails. Whether served as a palate opener before a meal or a closing note after dinner, the effervescent, light option works.

While the spritz can adapt to a wide array of flavors, it is reliant on the sparkling wine to bring everything together. The prosecco needs to meld with those various ingredients. La Marca is a lovely option that offers flavor versatility.

As the number one selling prosecco, the sparkling wine’s honeysuckle blends with warm spices and hearty fruits as well as bitter aperitivos and floral liqueurs. It adds crispness, which adds to the drinkability.

Speaking about the cocktail’s popularity, Marshall Dawson, Vice President of Marketing at GALLO commented, “We’re seeing growth in both prosecco and spritz consumption because they align with how people want to drink today: lighter, more social, and experience-driven. The spritz in particular has become a cultural ritual, from aperitivo hour to at-home hosting, because it delivers flavor without feeling overly heavy.”
