While Cracker Jack and peanuts might be old school baseball snacks, stadiums elevate their culinary offerings. Ahead of the highly anticipated All-Star Game, baseball fans get another vote. Which dish should be on the 2026 MLB All-Star Food Menu?
The 2026 All-Star Game is at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Additionally, this summer celebrates America250. Aramark Sports + Entertainment, the stadium’s hospitality partner, uses the combination to inspire the game’s culinary offerings.
While there will be plenty of food and beverage items to enjoy during the game, Aramark Sports + Entertainment wants fans to have a say in a signature menu item. The brand’s Instagram page allows everyone to vote. As the summer progresses, one dish will be crowned the winner.
Which 2026 MLB All-Star Food Item Will Be the Fan Favorite?
According to Aramark Sports + Entertainment, the fan voting will narrow four dishes down to one winner. The competing dishes are:
Matchup 1: Declaration Dog vs. Revolutionary Rib Melt
- Declaration Dog: Smoked Wagyu beef frank on a toasted pretzel roll, topped with candied bacon crumble, apple cider gastrique, crispy shallots, and micro mustard greens.
- Revolutionary Rib Melt: Smoked short rib layered with aged provolone, charred onion jam, fried peppers, and pickle butter on a pressed brioche roll, served with a side of beef consommé for dipping.
Matchup 2: Liberty Stack vs. Betsy’s Banana Ice Cream Sundae
- Liberty Stack: Buttermilk-brined hot chicken thigh layered with a brown butter maple glazed donut, charred peach bourbon compote, aged cheddar, and pickled Fresnos.
- Betsy’s Banana Ice Cream Sundae: Banana pudding and vanilla soft serve topped with crushed vanilla wafers, peanut brittle, hot fudge, strawberry sauce, toasted marshmallow cloud and red, white, and blue sprinkles, served in an All-Star souvenir cap.
The first round of voting leans toward savory options. In some ways, it would be nice to have an option for both categories. Matchup 2 could offer some curious insight into baseball fans’ food preferences.
Without influencing anyone’s vote, the Declaration Dog is a wonderful example of modern ballpark food. Yes, hot dogs are a classic baseball meal. This version feels like it could be served at a 5-star restaurant.
The most interesting element of the Declaration Dog is the apple cider gastrique. That acidic punch keeps the dish from being too heavy.
Which dish will be crowned the ultimate winner? It will be revealed the week leading up to the All-Star Game. Additionally, the dish will be available at Citizens Bank Park throughout All-Star Week.
