As Harry Potter celebrates 25 years, Universal Orlando Resort amplifies its specialty offerings for Butterbeer Season. With eight new Butterbeer flavored treats, everyone will find a sweet, satisfying food. Ready to unwrap all the delicious offerings?
When Universal Orlando’s Chef Steven Jayson first developed the Butterbeer recipe, everyone marveled at the beverage plucked directly from the pages of the iconic stories. What existed in pure imagination became reality.
Over the years, that delicious drink evolved. From regular and frozen to hot and ice cream, the sweet, satisfying magical sipper took new forms. With every new iteration, it sparked more conversation.
As the Butterbeer originator, Universal strives to keep the iconic food fresh. Butterbeer Season is the perfect time to expand its offerings. For 2026, Universal Orlando debuts eight new Butterbeer flavored treats.
What Are the New Butterbeer Flavored Treats at Universal Orlando?
According to Universal Orlando Resort, Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Universal Epic Universe will feature various specialty foods. Several of the items are limited time offerings just for Butterbeer Season. Others will be permanent items.
The most hyped offering is a Butterbeer Waffle. Available at Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley. As seen by the photos, it is picture perfect. Whether enjoyed at breakfast, lunch, dinner or just as a snack, everyone will want to order it.
Additionally, Universal Orlando will offer several additional limited time treats. They are Butterbeer Cupcake, Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich, Butterbeer Candy Apple and Butterbeer Shortbread Bar. These items will be available exclusively at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley.
Unfortunately, it does not appear that the Butterbeer Cream Puff will be available in Orlando. But, it will be sold at Universal Studios Hollywood as well as abroad.
Universal Epic Universe will follow-up its highly successful Butterbeer crepes with a Biéraubeurre (Butterbeer) Crème Brûlée. The sophisticated dessert will be a must try. For anyone who adores the pot de crème, this crème brulee might become a new favorite.
Additionally, the K. Rammelle confectionary shop in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Universal Epic Universe will debut Butterbeer macarons and truffles. These treats will be available year round. While there are many treats that tempt, these two items will be the best gift to take home to Harry Potter fans.
Butterbeer Season begins March 1 and runs through May 31. In addition to the food items, Universal will offer specialty merchandise. Check with the theme parks for availability and pricing.
