After Fat Tuesday, many people observe the Lenten Season. Fridays become Fish Friday. Popeyes new seafood menu brings big, bold seasoning. With four new flavors, the variety keeps guests going back to the restaurant for more.

Popeyes has always celebrated its Louisiana roots. Its iconic fried chicken is perfectly delicious. From the crispy batter to the tender chicken, people have always sung its praises

The quick service restaurant’s seafood menu has been a hidden gem. Specifically, the shrimp are always a smart order. Now, Popeyes adds four new dry rubs to the menu.

The new seafood menu includes Garlic Parmesan Shrimp, Lemon Pepper Shrimp, Buffalo Shrimp and Ghost Pepper Shrimp. They are available in both a Shrimp Tackle Box or Surf & Turf.

Which New Popeyes’ Dry Rub Seafood Menu Item Is a Must Order?

With four distinctive flavors, the new Popeyes Dry Rub Shrimp offerings ensure that there is a flavor for every palate. From the extreme spice to the classic combinations, it would be nice to be able to mix and match flavors. Instead, guests will have to purchase a second Tackle Box to create their own platter.

The classic offering is clearly the Garlic Parmesan Shrimp. Although not a scampi, garlic, parmesan and shrimp pair together well. The shrimp’s sweetness contrasts the savory roaster garlic. The parmesan cheese adds both a hint of salty and some richness. Overall, this flavor is the most approachable.

For the spice brave, the Ghost Pepper Shrimp is intense. Combining classic Louisiana seasonings and Ghost Pepper, it hits the heat on multiple levels. Even if the first bite seems bearable, the long, fiery finish is extreme. It is best to have some buttered biscuits nearby to temper the heat.

The Lemon Pepper Shrimp is a mid-level option. Personally, this flavor would be perfect on a po boy or a sandwich. Consider buying some biscuits and serving the Lemon Pepper Shrimp on the biscuits for an open faced sandwich. With a creamy sauce, it would be a great menu hack.

Priced at $5.99, the new shrimp menu items are a must buy. Available now, they are only in restaurants for a limited time. Better place an order before they disappear.
