Whether the sip fights a mid-day slump or it is a routine to start the day, popular energy beverages are a staple. As consumption continues to uptick, consumers thirst for flavor innovations. Brands like Ghost, C4, and Bloom Energy bring exciting new options to their 2027 releases.
Energy drinks has surged in popularity over the years. Instead of just a few skinny, smaller cans on the shelf, the aisle is full of choices.
Additionally, people want more than just a fruit forward flavor. Popular, iconic beverages have been transformed into energy drinks. With more choices, people are tempted to enjoy another serving whenever the thirst hits.
Brands like Ghost have led that flavor innovation space. From collaborations with classic drink companies to playful intereprations trends, this brand captivates people’s attention.
As Jeff Tabor, Chief Customer Officer at Keurig Dr Pepper commented, “innovations are designed to create excitement, spark discovery and help retailers capture incremental sales across the beverage category.” That product engagement makes drinks a priority not only for brands but also for retailers.

2027 New Energy Beverages that Everyone Will Want to Try
Ghost, C4, and Bloom Energy recently announced their new flavors for 2027. During the 2026 National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Show, the Keurig Dr Pepper brands assert that flavor innovation will continue to be a priority. Balancing familiar tastes with curious interpretations, both permanent additions and limited-time offerings will have everyone sipping.
Ghost Energy
Ghost is making two limited-time offerings a part of the permanent line-up. Both Ghost Energy x 7UP and Ghost Energy x A&W will be available in 2027. The two riffs on classic beverage brands were hugely popular.
These option show that energy drinks can be part of any moment. Why can’t the boosted 7UP have a cherry floating in it. What about a little cream in that A&W. The can does not have to be the ending point, it can start a creative beverage conversation.
That idea is captured with the upcoming Ghost Energy Blueberry Cream. The riff on the popular dirty soda idea is guaranteed to be a huge hit. The concept is a response to consumers asking for a creamy inspired drink. The fruity with a vanilla yogurt flavor will forever change the energy beverage space.
Additionally, the Ghost Energy Sour Strips Appleberry will be the first new beverage to arrive in January. That tangy and sugary note is a great choice to add all those new year resolutions. A little sip of indulgence without guilt is always a good choice.
C4 New Drinks
C4 continues that indulgence without guilt concept by expanding its Cereal’s Most Wanted lineup. Starting in January 2027, Cocoa Loco hits stores. The large can variety could replace that morning latte.
Even more important, C4 launches Cereal Most Wanted mini-cans. With eating habits changing to embrace smaller portions, the mini can is vital to stay relevant with consumers. The Cereal Killer, Jacked Apple Crunch and Buzzin’ Honey O’s will all be available in mini-cans.
Lastly, Bloom Energy’s new flavors are inspired by favorite desserts. Following the success of Strawberry Shortie, the brand will add Cotton Candy and Lemon Freezie in January 2027. It will be interesting to see if these beverages could be transformed into a slushie. A frozen option of these flavors would be delightful.
These new energy beverages join several other new 2027 offerings from Keurig Dr Pepper. As long as drink prices stay reasonable, many people will quench their thirst with all types of choices.
