Ready for soup season? A new option joins Panera’s menu. Three-Cheese Lasagna Soup brings warm, cozy vibes with a satisfying flavor. Hungry for a bowl?
Soup is one of the popular food items at Panera. Whether it is served with a salad, sandwich, or in a bread bowl, people love that spoonful of comfort food.
While there are always year-round staples, seasonal, limited-time offerings get people’s attention. As fall brings sweater weather, the first burst of chilly air has people craving soup. The Three-Cheese Lasagna joins a few other new and returning favorites on the Fall menu.
Scott Uehlein, Vice President of Culinary, Panera Bread explained, “When the temperature drops, Panera is the place to go – we’ve crafted a seasonal fall menu that brings warm comfort, nostalgia and exciting new flavors to every occasion. From the hearty warmth of our new Three-Cheese Lasagna Soup to the playful joy of our PB&J Cookie, we’re bringing everything our guests love about the season to the menu. We’re also excited to bring back our beloved Chocolate Chip Bagel, delivering the familiar flavors and traditions our guests look forward to each fall.”

What Can Guests Expect on Panera’s Fall Menu?
Leading Panera’s Fall Menu, the Three-Cheese Lasagna Soup captures the flavor essence without being heavy. For people eating lighter, this option is a great choice.
The soup starts with a luscious ricotta tomato broth. Just on its own, the broth would be a delicious meal.
Piled into the bowl are lasagna ribbon pasta, parmesan cheese, and chunks of Italian-style sausage. While the soup is hearty, it never feels heavy. That element is key to its overall enjoyment.
This soup benefits from a side of bread. Not a single drop should be left in the bowl. And, do not forget to have a napkin close by in case spills.
Which Panera Dessert Pairs Well with the Three-Cheese Lasagna Soup?
Since every great meal deserves a sweet ending, the Fall menu’s new PB&J Cookie is a must buy. It captures that childlike whimsy yet feels a little sophisticated. It is the cookie that will surprise even the most ardent critic.
The new dessert is a peanut butter cookie filled with grape jelly. The cookie is finished with powdered sugar.
It is interesting that Panera chose grape jelly. The jelly brings back those school lunch memories. More importantly, that sweet filling is the perfect contrast to the slightly salty peanut butter cookie.
Given the potential success, it will be interesting to see if Panera keeps this cookie on the menu or uses the concept in a winter menu offering. Just think about a chocolate cookie with a raspberry jam filling or sugar cookie with a peppermint mocha filling. The flavor combinations are many.
The Panera Fall menu begins on September 2. The menu items include the Three-Cheese Lasagna, Rustic Baked Potato Soup, Autumn Squash Soup, Ciabatta Dippers, New PB&J Cookie, New Cinnamon Croissant Bites, and Chocolate Chip Bagel. Check with local restaurants for availability and pricing.
