Instead of debating dress codes or offering social media comebacks, TGI Fridays focuses on giving guests a reason to raise a glass. The festive and innovative bar program invites guests to sip and savor the dining experience.

The fast causal restaurant space is highly competitive. While consumers continue to demand value with every meal, it is more than dollars and cents that entice a person to choose a restaurant. The dining experience needs to deliver from first sip till last bite.

TGI Fridays has been focusing on its bar program. After a hugely success holiday campaign, the brand has used springtime events to drive special visits. The newest specialty cocktail is Easter Bunny approved.

Available April 3-5, Fridays’ Easter Cocktail is a riff on a Long Island Iced Tea. Fridays Long Beach Tea includes a floating Peep. For dine-in guests, the cocktail is $7.

Although Peeps might be as controversial a seasonal candy as candy corn, they are an Easter staple. For this particular cocktail, it does not amplify the flavor, but it does make the beverage “shareable.” Like the old school Fridays flare, people want a cocktail moment that they can snap, share and showcase. Beverage choices do reflect people’s personalities.

Why Should TGI Fridays Continue to Focus on Its Bar Program?

While viral food moments get people talking, a great cocktail makes the whole dining experience complete. More importantly, a robust bar program sets a restaurant apart from the pack. Everyone can serve a good burger, but what people drink with that dish is equally as important.

TGI Fridays has elevated its craft cocktail selection. It is more than just thoughtful seasonal cocktails or cute themed drinks. Twists on classics showcase the mixologists’ creativity and call people to order another round.

For example, Dubai Chocolate Espresso Martini infuses the trending chocolate flavor into the popular espresso martini. Whether it is a stand-alone drink for happy hour or the sweet sip to end a night out, this libation delivers big flavors.

Instead of overspending on the hippest bar or waiting too long for a table at the hottest restaurant, TGI Fridays serve some tasty cocktails that impress every time. Sometimes the better solution is just down the street.
